Soak Those Winter Blues Away!

Soak Away those Winter Blues!

Since ancient times, the ritual bath has served to purify, relax, rejuvenate, and restore one’s balance.
It's about restoring balance. Bathing and use of water have been part of ceremonial rituals for purification and beauty since ancient times.
 A mineral rich bath waters are deeply restoring, soothing, softening to the skin, nurturing to the spirit, and gently purifying.

What make Love & Tea's Bath Salts unique???

 We Handcraft each bath blend, using the highest quality ingredients and Therapeutic grade, PURE essential oils, we do NOT use fragrance oils.

 Some therapeutic benefits of a Salt bath:

Salt is essential to life -- we carry a replica of the ancient ocean in our blood. Salt restores the natural alkaline balance crucial to health and well being.

Pink Sherpa Himalayan Salt:

Himalayan Salt is mined by hand from deep within the Himalayan Mountains, the tallest mountain range in the world. Himalayan salt is harvested from the heart of the Himalayan Mountains, and is known in many circles by another name: "white gold". Having formed over the last 250 million years, it is the purest salt in the world - amazingly pure and virtually untouched by any pollutants and toxins. For thousands of years, the salt has been used as a main ingredient in baths, body scrubs, drinks, and foods and has been revered for its unique crystalline beauty, its medicinal properties, and unique taste.

The gorgeous pink color stems from it's naturally high content of wholesome essential minerals, of which our bodies are made and require for well being. Himalayan salt is reported to contain 84 elements that naturally occur in the ocean as well as in our bodies. Himalayan salt is naturally rich in nutrients and elements, and each perfectly formed crystal contains crucial minerals including Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper and Iron.

Epsom Salt: is not actually salt but a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate.
Studies have shown that magnesium and sulfate are both readily absorbed through the skin, making Epsom salt baths an easy and ideal way to enjoy the amazing health benefits. In addition, it has been known to heal cuts and reduce soreness from childbirth which is added to our *post-partum sitz bath*

Healing benefits of Minerals:

Magnesium plays a number of roles in the body including regulating the activity of over 325 enzymes, reducing inflammation, helping muscle and nerve function and helping to prevent artery hardening.
Magnesium is essential to the healthy functioning of all living cells and is the 11th most abundant element in the human body. Magnesium has been used in anesthetics, sports medicine for relief of tired, sore, inflamed muscles, soothing back pain and aching limbs, easing muscle strain, healing cuts, treating cold and congestion, and drawing toxins from the body.

Naturally occurring sulfates help improve the absorption of nutrients, flush toxins and help ease migraine headaches. The sulfates in Epsom salt help flush toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances. The skin is a highly porous membrane and adding the right minerals to your bathwater triggers a process called reverse osmosis, which actually pulls salt out of your body, and harmful toxins along with it.

 Love & Tea's Bath and wellness also Adds in Theraputic grade, pure Essential oils:
We do NOT use fragrance oils.

Sencha Cherry Lemonade:

Sencha Cherry Lemonade:

 A quintessential green tea, Sencha is one of the most popular teas in Japan.  Sencha accounts for about 80 % of the tea consumed in Japan. It is usually served hot in the winter and chilled in warmer weather.

Sencha literally means "steamed tea", which differs from Chinese green teas, which are typically pan-fired. After the steaming process, Japanese Sencha green tea leaves are hand rolled, shaped, and dried.  The steaming process creates a distinctive difference in the flavor between Chinese and Japanese green tea, with Japanese green tea having a more full-bodied, wholesome flavor. This process of steaming produces a tea more that is vibrant green in color and tealeaves that have higher content of minerals and vitamins.

Health benefits of drinking Sencha;

Sencha green tea is rich in antioxidants, known as polyphenols. These antioxidants are said to have many health related benefits from strengthening the immune system, increasing heart health, skin care and anti-aging benefits along with potential cancer prevention. Sencha tea is also said to help regulate blood sugar levels. Sencha leaves contain fluoride which is used to help maintain oral health and adding to tooth enamel strength.

Please keep in mind, water quality and temperature will greatly affect the flavor of sencha in your cup!.

Flavor characteristics: Sencha green tea has a refreshing mildly sweet, vegetal flavor with subtle herbal notes.

Health benefits of cherries;

Cherries are one of the few food sources that contain melatonin, an antioxidant that helps regulate heart rhythms and the body’s sleep cycles.  Cherries are rich key vitamins and minerals; high in beta carotene (vitamin A) , vitamins C, E, potassium, magnesium, iron, folate and fiber.

Cherries contain anthocyanins, which are said to be powerful anti-inflammatory’s, which can reduce inflammation and symptoms of arthritis and gout. These anti-inflammatory properties in cherries are said to reduce pain and joint soreness perfect for runners and athletes before and after workouts.

Cool down and sip this flavorful tea inspired drink! Sencha tea is a classic Japanese green tea, try a cup today!
