Green Tea Punch; Refreshing and thirst quenching!

 This is a great drink to share at potlucks or bring to your next barbecue!

Enjoy this thirst quenching punch along with the many healthy benefits that green tea supplies.

It has been said that green tea may boosts mental alertness, contains anti-cancerous properties, boosts immune function, lowers stress hormone levels just to name a few!

Grab a cup of green tea now! 

Green Tea Punch:

* 3 Cups of water
* 3 Tablespoons of Green Tea: (I used our Jasmine green)
* 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice or your favorite fruit juice
* 3 oranges
* 3 lemons
* Sweeter ....if desired: 3/4 cup sugar, you can also use Agave, Maple, or honey-in which you may need to adjust the amt.)


 Step 1: Pour 3 cups boiling water over 3 tablespoons green tea in a large glass measuring cup or bowl, and let the mixture infuse for 5 minutes. 

Step 2 : Strain the tea into a large ceramic or glass bowl and let it cool. Add the juice and grated rind of 3 oranges and 3 lemons, 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice, 3/4 cup sugar or desired sweetener.
 whisk or stir well. 

Step 3:  Chill the mixture, covered, for at least 3 hours.

Step 4: Garnish the punch with orange and lemon slices and ice.

Makes 25 to 30 servings.
